This 3,000 square foot Oakland hills home was designed as a haven for a young family. Working with a limited budget, the building massing was kept simple while the desired Mediterranean style was achieved with the use of classic details and materials. The house is sited to provide an ample set-back from the main road, a view from the master bedroom of the rolling hills nearby and a gracious backyard for the children to play in.
