This new home and a companion home next door were designed to nestle into a canyon of the Oakland hills. Using the slope of the site, the house steps down the hill to create intimate spaces on each floor of this 4,500 square foot home. A series of patios create a connection to the outdoors and views of the adjacent canyon from each of the home's three levels.
